ELABORATION
To produce this crianza red wine, Tempranillo grapes are fermented in our Oyon winery in vats of between 30 and 45 tonnes, equipped with the most advanced technology for rigorous control of fermentation temperatures, maceration and colour extraction. This achieves the right balance between structure and equilibrium in the wines. It is aged for at least 12 months in selected 225-litre American oak barrels and at least 6 months in the bottle before leaving the winery.
TASTING NOTES
El Coto Crianza has a bright cherry colour in the glass, with a garnet rim. On the nose, it retains the freshness of the fruit, with hints of vanilla and the most emblematic aromas of toasted oak. On the palate, it is silky and persistent, with well-integrated spicy flavours.
PAIRING
This Tempranillo crianza wine is versatile and easy to pair with foods such as meat, fish, cheese, or Iberian cured meats. The ideal serving temperature is between 16 and 18 ºC (60.8-64.4ºF).
