Tempranillo
ELABORATION
The alcoholic fermentation of this Tempranillo wine takes place in stainless steel tanks, with maceration lasting up to 18 days and frequent pumping over to achieve a balance between fruit and extract. Its reserve status is conferred after 18 months of ageing in 225-litre American oak barrels, followed by a minimum of a further 18 months of bottle ageing.
TASTING NOTES
This wine is particularly exceptional for its richness and strength of flavours. With an intense cherry colour with a garnet rim, it has a powerful, complex aroma on the nose, with notes of ripe fruit and fine cocoa. On the palate, it is meaty, powerful and velvety, with ripe tannins and good acidity.
PAIRING
It is undoubtedly the best accompaniment for game dishes, red meat or beef. The serving temperature should be between 16 and 18 ºC (60.8-64.4ºF). If you are looking for a quality wine that will surprise your guests at special celebrations (Christmas, Father’s Day or Valentine’s Day), this will always be a good choice.
