VARIETY
Tempranillo
ELABORATION
The vineyard at our Finca Carbonera estate (planted at the end of the last century, a pioneer in terms of altitude in the Rioja DOCa) sits on a glacis, with a large accumulation of stones on the surface, which promotes the health and ripening of the Tempranillo grapes used to make this wine.
The grapes are harvested by hand and transported to the winery. During the alcoholic fermentation process, gentle extractions are carried out to bring out the delicate aromatic component of the variety. After alcoholic fermentation, malolactic fermentation takes place in barrels, with the aim of achieving perfect integration of the tannins. It is then finished by ageing in new American and French oak barrels for 9 months.
TASTING NOTES
An intense and fresh Tempranillo red wine with good acidity. It also offers delicate aromas of cherry and red fruit, combined with mocha and cocoa, and a long, balsamic finish.
PAIRING
875 M Tinto is a perfect wine for grilled red meats, cold meats and mature cheeses. The recommended serving temperature is between 14 and 16ºC.
