ELABORATION
VARIETY
Tempranillo and Graciano. This Tempranillo red wine is made with grapes from our own vineyards located in Rioja Alavesa, specifically from our Los Almendros estate.
ELABORATION
This wine is fermented for 22-30 days in small stainless steel tanks, with gentle maceration, achieving a balance between the expression of the fruit and the terroir. It is aged for 18 months in new American oak barrels, selected by our oenology team. It is then left to rest in the bottle for a minimum of 18 months to achieve its elegance and finesse.
TASTING NOTES
This is a red wine with an intense ruby colour and slightly brick-red edges. It also has aromas of sweet spices, cocoa and ripe fruit, which give it complexity. On the palate, it has a meaty texture and great persistence and is very pleasant and balanced.
PAIRING
This Rioja Reserva red wine is ideal for accompanying roast suckling lamb, game or red meat. The recommended serving temperature is between 16 and 18 ºC (60.8-64.4ºF).
